I Got Everything I Need

Scripture: Philippians 4:19 And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus.


Lord, without You, my presence is insufficient
Yet, with You, Your grace is totally sufficient

And, my troubles outweigh my good days
Yet, I’m kept, based on what You say

Lord, You are simply telling the truth
We have everything we need to get through

The old me often rise unexpectedly
Determined to put what’s new in jeopardy

I’m reminded of what You’ve already done
Rejoicing that the victory is already won

Lord, You are simply telling the truth
We have everything we need to get through

Often, the odds are opposing and against me
Yet, You always provide an escape from what offends me

The valleys that appear to succeed with weakening me
Yet, You are strongest during these moments to strengthen me

Lord, You are simply telling the truth
We have everything we need to get through

Although, my pain, hurt, and suffering are reoccurring
I’m glad You are not fair by giving me what’s truly deserving

And although, all that is behind and before me is a scare
You promised to never put something in front of me that I couldn’t bear

Lord, You are simply telling the truth
We have everything we need to get through

Prayer: We are never alone! You have provided all the resources we need. In fact, You’ve given us the power to withstand anything. Complaints, shame, embarrassment, pride, worry, defeat are real, but shouldn’t have the final say. Lord, You are a miracle worker, a way maker, a healer, and keeper. How would we ever know of this power if we never experience trying times. Because of You Lord, we have everything we need to get through. I lift up this prayer in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
