An Extraordinary Man
Scripture: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
Jesus did come down from heaven above
Just to show the strength of His divine love
When He was born people came from far and near
He was clothed in flesh for thirty-three years
When young, He showed great wisdom to teachers
Preparing for His life as a preacher
Gave parables to His generation
While presenting His plan for salvation
On Good Friday as prophesied, He died
He had a predestined time to bear and abide
On Easter, He triumphantly and victoriously arose
He could not be kept in His grave by darkness and foes
The greatest event and accomplishment known to man
Making history through this victory as He is born again
An extraordinary man was He
Ponder! He now waits for you and me
Prayer: There is no man greater than the Lord Jesus Christ! All You went through for us. Who can love us more than to lay His life down for us to live? There is no one greater! We honor Your Lord! In the name of Jesus, Amen!
