God’s Word to the Rescue

Scripture: Jeremiah 36

The foundation of our faith is the Word of God
An exchange from God’s mind to our mind’s from the start

A commitment to man that provides divine information
Speaking to His chosen people with righteous inspiration

So, specific servants are chosen to convey biblical sentiments
Deliverers of messages used as His personal instruments

His Word reveals how He saves, delivers, and forgives our sin
His Word articulate the road to salvation in Romans chapter ten

We must believe, if God speak it, we must obey it
It will encourage us, yet correct us, if we approve and okay it

True believers have a great desire to hear His Word
Through grace, it exposes us to ourselves on what is learned

This is where our faith rests and relies
Believing in His Word rather than our eyes

Ultimately, this faith turns into works through our Savior
His Word translates into changed attitudes and behaviors

His Word presents convictions for our undivided attention
Adhering with intention and retention, yet without pretentions

Therefore, we are rescued by what is written to serve
It’s up to us to fear, reverence, believe, and obey His Word

Prayer: Lord, thank you for never leaving us nor forsaking us. Your Word provides safety, protection, and direction. It’s the truth! It’s the answer! It’s our navigation since the beginning of time. We thank You for making yourself available through Your Word. We honor You Lord! In the matchless name of Jesus, Amen!
