God is Trying to Tell Us Something

Scripture:  I John 4:6 -  We are from God, Anyone who knows God listen to us…

God is trying to tell us something.  Do you believe this?  With the pandemic moving all around the world, what do you think?  I think that we really aren’t listening, are we?  As believers in Christ, we need to be getting the Word out to this lost world.  It doesn’t seem as if people are listening.  I’m waiting with anticipation for our Lord to return.  With so much killing, lawlessness, and other things happening, I often wonder what is the Saviour thinking?  If I’m shedding tears because of what’s happening, I know He must be.  

As a song goes by Curtis Mayfield, “People get ready, there’s a train a coming. He says you don’t need no ticket, you just get on board.”  Well, you do need one to get on this train, if you are going to heaven.  You need to accept the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior.   People do you see the signs of the times?  I do.  We’re coming up on another year, 2022.  People will be making all kinds of resolutions.  What will yours be?  

Pray for the salvation of friends and loved ones.  Pray for our missionaries here and in other countries in the world.  Pray for our children and grandchildren.  Pray for those who have contacted the virus and are in the hospital and those who are at home fighting this virus.  Pray for those battling cancer, kidney disease, diabetes,  heart disease, and many other diseases.  We have lost many of our loved ones, and it was so hard for all of us this Christmas season.  The Lord has been with us through it all.  Saints of God, lets get out there and spread the Word.  We don’t have much time.

Prayer, Dear Lord, thank You for sending Your Son Jesus to the world to die for me.  I’m so unworthy, but I thank You for Your grace and mercy You give me every day.  I would be lost without You.  I pray as we come into a new year that I will be a better servant working in Your vineyard -- being obedient to Your will and Your ways.  In Jesus’ name, Amen.
