Too Good to Be True (God’s Promise)

Scripture: Luke 24:36-43 Now as they said these things, Jesus Himself stood in the midst of them, and said to them, “Peace to you.” 37 But they were terrified and frightened, and supposed they had seen a spirit. 38 And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? 39 Behold My hands and My feet, that it is I Myself. Handle Me and see, for a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see I have.” 40 When He had said this, He showed them His hands and His feet. 41 But while they still did not believe for joy, and marveled, He said to them, “Have you any food here?” 42 So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish [b]and some honeycomb. 43 And He took it and ate in their presence.

God never made a promise that was too good to be true
His faithfulness is biblically shown as His documented proof

Whatever has to be accomplished, He promised to supply every need
My plans may be delayed, but His promises, He keeps

Our ways are inconsistent, changeable, and fickle
Yet, His reputation is at stake, so His promises have to match biblical

Then, there is satan with his lies and false persuasions
Arresting our progress with the challenges we are facing

If you don’t know His promises, your hope is limited
Faith is lifestyle, not event that’s casually visited

Our prayers spring from the Word that reveals His promises
This grants us hope through our dependency on Kingdom services

Therefore, consider the moment you may be heart broken, troubled or depressed
Cling on, rely on, and depend on God’s promises to contend with each test

Prayer
Lord, You gave us the Bible that’s filled with Your promises. Thank You Lord! Often, many of the miracles appear too good to be true. But, we believe Father. We believe in Your Word. Continue to consume our minds with Your truth. Give us understanding and clarity Father. We believe Your Word is Bond! We lift our hands and prayers in the matchless name of Jesus Christ, Amen!
