A New Belief Cycle

Scripture: James 4:11 - Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.
Romans 12:21 - Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
James 4:2-3 - You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God. When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
What happens when a believer is controlled by jealousy or is consumed with a busy body or “me” agenda? They are not able to rejoice over another’s miracle; they are not able to see pass another’s history of faults and speak life. Evil thoughts and actions come from those who are unguarded; in other words: evil thoughts and actions can come from us all when we are unguarded. God desires that we love one another in our process, preparation, yes, life. We sometimes at inopportune times fail to align ourselves to do what pleases God. But why? Is it because we were the object of someone’s act of evil or unkindness? I was disturbed when I heard the phrase, ‘hurt people hurt people’. Well, if that’s truth, how do we break this evil chain of unbelief in the body? I refer to it as an act of unbelief, because when we embrace our Savior and His work on the cross and His resurrection, we have been truly brought from death to life.
Jesus has given us the ability to rise above this world. He has seated us in heavenly places. He has charged us to think on things above and not on the things of this earth. Well, we must come to the knowledge and understanding of what God wants for us. It is healing and restoration. He wants us to live out our salvation, our deliverance so that another may rise and see that Jesus can change them, too. There’s another cycle which can be initiated and embraced. A cycle of love, kindness, true life; Hey, ‘Loved people love people;’ ‘Forgiven people forgive people’…Provision has already been made. Let’s walk in it!
Prayer: Lord lift our heads so that we may see pass the mess that is before us and see YOU; cause us to see that YOU are greater than all the hurt and pain that has ever been thrown our way. We bless YOU for Your awesome provision for us to live as unto YOU. In Jesus’ name-Amen
