Don’t Forget to Say Thank you!

Scripture: Luke 17:11-16 Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, “Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!” 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, “Go, show yourselves to the priests.” And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.

The scripture says, come as you are
I don’t have to be perfect, complete, or even a star

He knows my iniquities, vices, and sins
Yet, I can go to His throne without being condemned

Thank You Lord!

I’ve realized the times I’ve compromised
Taking my eyes off You, leads to my demise

Evil persists with plots that involve immoral demands
However, the Lord supersedes wicked events with His purposeful plans

Thank You Lord!

So, I submit my commitment by trusting Your process
Your glory will prevail, while mercy is in progress

I can count on Your grace, You are forever faithful
You’ve exonerated my iniquities and the areas where I’m shameful

Thank You Lord!

Because of who you are, I am grateful
Because of Your goodness, I am thankful

 I am a witness of Your healing, power, and breakthroughs
You are celebrated, and worthy of countless thank yous

Thank You Lord!

Prayer:  I come to You Lord with a grateful heart. Your sovereignty is magnificent and set apart. No matter the conditions, You reign. No matter how less I feel, I gain. You are a healer, and for that I glorify Your name. You are merciful, and for that I glorify Your name. My heart is full of thanksgiving. Father, I pray this prayer in the name of Your Son, Amen!
