Brainwashed by Christ

Scripture:  Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Overtime the Lord has convinced me of supernatural factors
He promised to make me new, while the old is less flattering

The Lord has brainwashed me to believe
Through Christ who strengthens me, I’m able to achieve

I take pleasure in encountering the things of Christ
Evil lingers, but unable to take hold of my abundant life

Even during trouble, I am more than a conqueror
Even during pain and suffering, I have a comforter

Now, self-esteem and confidence secure my authority
Providing light for darkness to sustain divine seniority

The Lord has brainwashed me to believe His grace is sufficient
He’s brainwashed me to believe He is able, when I’m deficient

The Lord has brainwashed me to believe all things are possible
He’s brainwashed me with courage to spread and uphold the gospel

So, Lord, continue to be Lord of my life, while grace is discovered
This brainwash effect isn’t just for me, but a testimony for others

Therefore, You have permission to take over my mind, body, and soul
All things are possible through Christ as trials and tribulations unfold

Prayer:  Lord, dominate and consume us with Your deity. Continue to convince and persuade us to do it Your way rather than our own. Forgive us for allowing so many other idols and pleasures to supersede Your will. We honor You! We see Your goodness! We praise Your name above all! We exalt You in the name of Your Son! Amen!
