Conversating with the Lord

Scripture:  Isaiah 1:18 - Come now, and let us reason together,” Says the Lord, “Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.

Lord, no longer can we do this!
Clearly, there is nothing but sin in our midst

Our words, thoughts, and action, are shamefully wicked
We’re expecting and accepting Your consequences and vengeance

We’ve drifted away with our desires, lust, and pleasures
Our hearts are exposed and guilty of evil and immoral treasures

Still, You gathered our hearts, while arresting our cares
In fact, You reasoned with us, and told us to draw nearer

Knowingly, our sin will not allow us to join You alone
It’s because of Your Son, we can come to Your throne

A throne that encompasses grace and mercy
Now, Your promises and declarations are activated and worthy

Baffled by this love You demonstrate in Romans 5:8
Mystified, You grant us hope despite our sinful resumes

We are liars, thieves, hypocrites, and murderers
Fornicators, gamblers, drinkers, and adulterers

We complain, we’re profane, we’re vain, and lustful
We’re addicts, bitter, prideful, and hateful

It’s nothing but the blood that cleansed us of our sins
Confession and repentance prepared us for forgiveness

Now, we can conversate about our issues and transgressions
Although, there are consequences, we’re not condemn for discretions

Therefore, conversating with the Lord is necessary for spiritual growth
Even though our external is crimson red, internally, we are white as snow

Prayer:  Forgive me Father for my wicked ways. These actions are seen in most of my days. Yet, You made a way for reconciliation. So, thankful for your Son that advocates on our behalf. You are who You are, yet willing to conversate with us. Yet, willing to have a relationship with us. Yet, patient with us! Bless Your name Father in the matchless name of Jesus Christ. Amen!
