In God We Trust

Scripture: Psalms 36:7 - “How precious is your steadfast love, O God! The children of mankind take refuge in the shadow of your wings.”
Most of us have heard the saying, “People are just people on even their best days.” Well, just like it says, people; that means, we are in this together. It is not just the other person, but it is me and you, too. So there are days I just do not feel loved, let alone saved. Huh, there are days I am not even appearing saved. And it is not okay; for the Lord declares that we are His workmanship created in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:10). So there is a standard, an order to how we are to carry ourselves. We are a representation of Christ to the unsaved world. God in all of His sovereignty, love, and Omniscience has given us I John 1:9. He knows we will fail in this flesh so He has given us a way of escape (I Cor 10:13). We know God’s Word, and we understand His way is the standard and not a sliding scale (to compare with one another). We recognize our error, and we have an obligation to repent and confess the sin to the Lord. We are to agree with the Lord that that act or thought is sin. We love His love toward us, and remember how His love appeared to us when we were not His at all (Rom 5:8). We were, without a doubt, an enemy of God; and He made a love commitment to us.
So now that we are His, of course, we can expect from Him (Ps. 62:5). We can expect His love, His protection and provision for He is true to His commitment. We can trust Him in our weakness, our strength, our fearfulness, and yes, in every other hard place. We can run to our Savior unashamed because He has made us some precious promises: In (Heb 13:5) I will never leave you nor forsake you; (Rom 4:7-8) Blessed are those whose lawless deeds are forgiven, and whose sins are covered; Blessed is the man to who the Lord shall not impute sin; and (1 Cor 2:9) But as it is written: Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, Nor have entered into the heart of man The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.
Prayer: Lord we thank You; for Jeremiah proclaims You love with an everlasting love. And for that love we say Thank You! Thank You for being committed to us on even our worst day. We worship You today for Your goodness, Your mercy and Your unfailing Word, which keeps us in perfect peace. We bless you, In Jesus’ Name-Amen!
