The Almighty God is the God of Order

Scripture: I Corinthians 14:40 (NKJ) - Let all things be done decently and in order.
Generations through generations, man has been subjected to the order of things in the earth with life and living. With order, there is peace.  In the beginning God the Creator, created heaven and earth. He brought order to chaos and darkness  (Gen. 1:1-2:1;(Luke 10:18). His creative work is a testimony of His magnificent creative order and design, from the Splendor of outer space, to the grandest animal and the smallest of insects. All creation flows harmoniously as God intended. God does not haphazardly put things in place.

“Everything in God’s universe was created perfect and has remained in perfect order since completion (Gen. 2:1-2).  The earth rotates in perfect time, minute by minute, day by day, year after year, century after century, for untold millions of years,” (Abiding Life Christian Ministries 2020)- as best calculated by scientists. The sun has continued to rise and the sun sets. The moon and the stars appear as intended by God, (our Supreme One).

God’s order extends far beyond earth’s materials, but into the life of man and the ways of life upon the earth. In order that thing be done properly and in an orderly manner; there has to be a fixed set of rules. Without order, there is confusion. God is not a God of disorder (confusion), but of peace. Doing things in a proper and orderly way promotes understanding and harmony as to individual believers and the Saints of the Church’s body. There was also divine order in God’s deliverance of the Israelites from slavery. The day they left Egypt (Exodus 12:37) traveling from Rameses to Succoth; a place they lived for 430 years (Exodus 12:40). From Succoth they camped at Etham on the edge of the wilderness (Exodus 13:20),  next, to camp in front of Ba-al-zephon facing the sea. As the Lord went before them and opened the Red Sea as an escape route, to escape Pharaoh’s army on dry ground (Exodus 14:16). Then Moses lead the Israelites to the wilderness of Shur, then to Merah (Exodus 15:15:22,23); on to Elim (Exodus 15:27) to the Wilderness of Sin (Exodus 16:1),  and on to Rephidim (Exodus 17:1) and from there to Sinai Wilderness (Exodus 19:2). The Lord God directed their paths, shielded, protected, kept clothed, gave food and water; divine instructions/teachings on who He was; His laws, commands, statues and memories (set days to remember); fellowship, worship and the Tabernacle, all in an orderly manner.

Prayer: Lord, You are awesome in all of Your ways. In this daily walk and in every situation; I learn more and more about You, Your righteous way, Your faithfulness, Your divine promises and Your truth is from everlasting to everlasting. In Jesus’ Name. Amen.
