Koinonia or Bust

Scripture:  Philippians 1:3-5 - I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, 4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy, 5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

What is koinonia and what does it mean?  Above all, what do we do with it? Well
Koinonia simply means Christian fellowship or communion with God and more commonly with fellow Christians. I thought that because of all the things that are going on in the world today that this would be a good time to talk about it. Sis Debbie and I have received many phone calls during this pandemic from brothers and sisters just to check on us wanting to know if we were okay. I thought to myself, that’s koinonia that is what it is all about. That's happening because of the great love that is in our church. Pastor Cockrell has brought our church up in love, through the word of God and Jesus. Philippians 2:6 - Who although existed in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal to God. It's all about love.  I Peter 1:4-7 - For by these he has granted to us his precious and magnificent promises, so that by them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world by lust. I Peter 1:5 -  Now for this very reason also, applying all diligence in your faith supply excellence, and in your moral excellence, knowledge. I Peter1:6 - And in your knowledge self-control, and in your self-control, perseverance, and in perseverance godliness.  I Peter 1:7 - And in your godliness brotherly kindness, and in your brotherly kindness, love. Which is what it is all about, John says this, there is no fear in love; but perfect love cast out fear, because fear has punishment, and the one fear is not perfected in love. We must learn to be about one another. Also pay attention to our governor as well as our President so that we may do things in decency and in order. (Inspired by servant PM Smith)

Prayer: thank you my God and my King you are such a great God and I have the privilege to call
you Daddy, ABBA! I thank you for this moment in prayer to give you all the honor and Glory in
Jesus name Amen.
