We Don’t Walk Alone
Scriptures: Psalms 115:3 - Our God is in heaven and does whatever He pleases! Isaiah 46:10 - I declare the end from the beginning, and from long ago what is not yet done, saying, My plan will take place, and I will do all My will!
From generation to generation, man has never ceased to put God in a box. Our thoughts and ways are not like Gods’ no matter how man feels about the path he is on. Man must come to trust His hand and believe that His plan for humans is good no matter how man feel about the direction He takes. There continues to be some form of suffering, pain or emotional distress. Even so, Is not God in control His Heaven and earth and all that dwells therein?
The sovereignty of God means as the ruler of the universe, He is free and has the right to do whatever He wants. He is not bound or limited by the dictates of humans. Furthermore, He is in complete control over everything that happens on earth (Jack Zavada 2019). God’s will is supreme. He can’t be opposed in any way. When things happen along our path as we walk; there is a response that God is asleep, moving too slow and/or is deaf. Does He care what happens to me?
Unbelief demands that God should be about eliminating evil, suffering and racism around the world. The truth is, our sovereign God is far beyond human understanding. The human mind cannot grasp why God allows evil and suffering. We are called to have faith and trust His hand in all human affairs on earth. (Psalm 118:8); (Ps. 40:4a); (Proverbs 3:5, 6); (Isaiah 12:2); (Isaiah 50:15); (Jer. 17:5); and (Mark 5:36c) “Don’t be afraid. Only believe.” Therefore, we can go forth and testify that the works of His hand are more than can be told. God’s purpose is that we experience Him. “When you see Him for who He really is, you will never view life the same way again” (T. Evans -CSB-Study Bible 2019).
God’s plan includes “a future and a hope” (Jer. 29:11). Many Saints tend to lose hope and stop trusting Him when storms come, and the sea billows cease to roll in life. Believers, is your faith in Him? He has not forgotten you. He is right there all the time.
Prayer: Lord, Your sovereignty is so impactful in my life daily all throughout my day. You demonstrate complete control as You direct my paths, my thoughts ,the choices I make and my every decision according to Your will and Your plan. None of Your purposes can be changed or altered by me. Lord, it is comforting to know that You have been in control from my birth, as I have aged and all the in between years. In Christ. Amen.

It is blessing to know of the nearness of God, how when the unfamiliar about us comes, we are not alone. The truth is that there is more about that we can't see, than what we can. Amen for His Mercy and Grace.
