Our Father In Heaven Hallowed Be YOUR Name

Scriptures: (Matthew 6: 9 (b) Our Father in Heaven, Hallowed be YOUR name,
(Ezekiel 36:23) And I will sanctify my great name, which has been profaned among the nations, which you have profaned in their midst; and the nations will know that I AM the LORD, “says the LORD GOD, when I AM hallowed in you before their eyes”.

In today’s world the name of a Person will always be noted in history, based on how they impacted the world in which we live.

I read about George Washington, the first President of the United States, and about Abraham Lincoln, the 16th President of the United States. I lived to see Barak Obama, the 44th President of the United States, and the first African American President of the United States. These men were born and served at different times in the history of the Unites States, yet their name will not be forgotten. Whether positive or negative, their performance as President of the United States will be remembered in history.

There is another name in history in which we all will remember whether now or later. His name was before George Washington, before Abraham Lincoln and before Barak Obama. His name was mentioned and recorded before America had its first history book.  His name will NEVER be associated with success, with failure or associated with a political party. Unlike Washington, Lincoln and Obama His name needs no support from people. He will always be supported by the Authority in which He stands.

He is the Eternal Living God, our Holy, Abba Father, our Holy, Jesus the Son of God and the Holy Spirit, of the Living God. In the book of Genesis (1:1) He was before time, because He created time. He was before man because He created man. (Genesis 1:26) He is not governed by men or men’s approval. His name will always be HALLOWED as being HOLY, as being Omnipotent, as being Omnipresent, as being Omniscient and as being Immutable. His name is Jesus, and the HOLY -WORD of the Living GOD says that one day every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is LORD. (Philippians 2:10-11) We as Christian believers must be persuaded to keep HIS name Holy, Holy, Holy no matter what. When the world swears and uses His name in vain, we must continue to keep His name HOLY.  We must be persuaded to stand on Jesus’ Holy name and His Holy Word, having done all to stand. (Ephesians 6:13)

Prayer: Eternal GOD my Loving Father, in the name of my King of Glory Jesus, I bow my knees and confess with my tongue that Jesus Christ is LORD.  Thank You for convicting me when I choose to refrain from correcting those who take Your name in vain. When I choose not to take every opportunity to witness to the lost. To love You is to serve You, and to serve You is to love You. In Jesus’ Matchless Name.
