Believe God
SCRIPTURE: “But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.” Hebrews 11:6

In scripture, we can find passages which absolutely disqualify us from God’s favor if we do not believe Him. There is the verse, Hebrews 11:6, that blatantly states that it is impossible to please God if you do not believe Him. Then in that same passage it reads that he who comes to God must believe Him and that God “is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.” God desires our believing to continue until our faith becomes sight.
Faith is defined (Hebrews 11:1), as the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of things not seen. Romans 4, speaks of Abraham being fully convinced that “what God had promised Him, God was also able to perform.” To the believer, God is everything; He is True and is more than worthy of GREAT faith and worship.
Our continual walk with the Lord and other saints is what strengthens our belief, yes faith. The familiar principle in Joshua 1:8, tells us how to live successfully. In whatever situation, God desires us to “meditate day and night” on what He has said. Again, a practice of diligence in how we continue in His Word. Believing God is not accomplished all at once. No. It is when we continually make it our aim and practice not to be overwhelmed or easily distracted with what we see formed against us. Paul tells us in 2 Corinthians 4:17, that all of what we see (the physical) is temporary, but what we don’t see (the spiritual) is eternal. We are encouraged to have the perspective that the trials we see on this side of life are merely “light afflictions” compared to what God has for us when we reach eternity.
Our encouragement to one another ought to bring assurance and greater certainty of what God has said (2 Corinthians 1:4)” God of all comfort, 4 who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any [a]trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.. Our trials and victories become the very testimonies of God’s love toward His Bride, the Body of Christ. When we share our faith to believe God, we cause our brother or sister to also overcome; and defeat fear and unbelief. We realize the phenomenon that we exist for one another. Therefore, our Lord is praised, glorified, and worshipped even more. Hallelujah!
PRAYER: Lord, thank You for the opportunity to give Your Name Honor and Praise. Power belongs to You; so we know and understand that nothing we go through is a coincidence or an accident. You have strategically put all the pieces of this life in place to give us every opportunity to believe You and to exhort others to do so, as well. Thank You for the hope and expectation that comes from You. We trust only YOU, Oh Lord. In Jesus’ Name-Amen!
