SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “I know that You can do everything, and that no purpose of Yours can be withheld from You.” Job 42:2
Lord God Almighty, our eternal Father, we thank you again for the insight that You give unto us from the Word. You see all of our hearts. Certainly, we live, Father, with our hearts open to You knowing that You are fully aware of not only where we are, but what we do with what You say.  So, I pray today for all that are gathered here, certainly for all those who listen to this message, and all those who might hear this message in the future. I pray, Father, that You would do a mighty work with Your Word.  That You would not let us become settled in the routine of church, that we will not forget the things You have taught us. While we are working in our various fields of life that You would not let us forget what we're waiting for and what the purpose is.  That You would help us to keep our minds stayed on You so that we can not only live in peace, but our hearts will continue to be filled with the kind of faith that will sustain us in our walk.  We thank You that You are a God that can do stuff.  When we pray, we believe that You are and we believe that You are rewarder of them that diligently seek You.  We have seen from time to time in various avenues of our lives, either in our personal lives or the lives of people around us, that You have done things and some of them have been of miraculous proportion.  And all of us like Moses can say,  “Who are we?” None of us can walk up to You and say we deserve it, but You chose within Yourself to make us Your children. You called us out of Egypt, You called us out of our own Egypts and through the supreme deliverer, not Moses but Jesus, You brought us out, You brought us out and we thank You for that. We come here as a free people,  free in Christ Jesus and we thank You for that.  So Lord, just like You led Your people through the desert,  lead us to where we should go. Make Your way clear to us and we shall, we should always give You the praise,  should always give You the honor and the glory for we ask it in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.
