SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

Our Eternal God and our gracious Father in heaven, again we come before Your throne of grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior. We come, Father, desiring so very much today that You would give unto us understanding from the holy Scriptures. That You would cause all of us to have the power and the purity of the Word to touch us in the deepest regions of our being and saturate our bodies, our minds, our souls in totality. We need the Word. We want the Word. We want to understand Your mind and in these times in which we live, we want to be of one mind with You. So that as the ebb and flow of things happen around us, as the governments of the world make decisions and changes, and as many laws and rules are put in place, and all matter of evil displayed by men and women, we want to think like You! We want to have a heart that is filled with Your love, Your mercy, and at the same time we want to be willing to stand, to draw the line, the boundary of what is right and wrong and doing Your will. We ask this in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.
