A Revival for Survival

SCRIPTURE: “Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?”  Psalm 85:6
Lord!
This is a heartfelt prayer for revival from Your people,
We’ve lost zeal, and You deserve servants that are eager.

Weary hearts stand before You to renew our Kingdom citizenship,
Our spiritual decline creates a desire for a revitalized relationship.

Bring back a fervent faith that delights in Your faithful presence,
Once again, realizing that without You, there lie consequences and lessons,

We come to You dry in spirit, longing for a spiritual awakening,
Because of isolation, fear, and doubt, our joy to serve was taken.

Our plea is for You to breathe life back into our faith,
Take Your rightful place where we were once alive and safe.

Revival will grant us the joy that only You can provide,
Witnesses will see Your favor that’s created on the inside.

Taking us back to the place where salvation was manifested,
A call for grace and mercy established through Christ's investment.

So, we praise You, Lord, for forgiving us, keeping us, and removing Your wrath,
We have hope in the present because of Your continual faithfulness in the past.

Now, we understand better how much we really need You for survival,
Our dull, dry, and lukewarm religious lives require restoration and revival.

Therefore, this revival will address our spiritual lack and decline,
So, let’s lay out what’s needed to press forward by pushing rewind.

Resuscitate what’s dead Lord, and restore what was lost,
Renew and make us new Lord, and remind us of the cost.

Repair what’s broken Lord, and restart what ended,
Realign what’s crooked, and reaffirm what’s unattended.

Readjust what’s out of order, and rearrange what’s out of place,
Reactivate what’s ceased Lord, and reestablish Your way.

As we consider our trials, troubles, enemies, and rivals,
It’s clear that only You Lord, can bring upon us a blessed revival.

PRAYER: Your faithfulness is unmatched! Your grace and mercy in our lives stand as our hope. Create in us a new heart! A heart that’s willing to serve You with vigor and diligence. We honor You, Lord. In the matchless name of Jesus!
