SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, 18 the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, 19 and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power”  Ephesians 1:17-19
Father, we thank You again for another privilege to open Your Word that You might speak to us. We agree as a people that we do not live by bread alone. We are committed to the fact that we live by every Word that proceeds out of Your mouth. Yet sometimes we surely struggle, we surely yield, struggling to surrender ourselves, but we are thankful that Your Word is true and it is nonnegotiable and it is unadulterated, in  a world where we need to have greater clarity. So, we yield to the Holy Spirit asking for insight and understanding that these matters would be clear to us and that Your Word would do a great work in our hearts, causing us to be more and more conformed inwardly to the mind of Christ. We will give You praise and thanks as You use this servant to speak forth these things in Jesus’ name, amen and amen.
