TAKE THIS PERSONALLY
SCRIPTURE: "Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’" John 3:7

Have you ever noticed how easily the phrase “Don’t take it personally” rolls off the tongue? It seems to have become a default response of sorts to all expressions of perceived personal insult -- justified or imagined by the hearer. Cambridge Dictionary says the phrase means to think someone is offending you when that was not their actual intent. Despite its rather popular use, when it comes to sharing the Gospel of Christ and the fact that EVERYONE needs to receive and believe on Him for personal salvation, no one should embrace the thought that they needn’t take that personally. A personal reception is its very essence!
“ALL have sinned and come short of the glory of God [Romans 3:23]!” ALL have missed the mark—from the moment we were ejected from the womb! Moreover, as a wonderful preacher of yesteryear used to say to his congregation—[pardon my double-negatives, here used for emphasis]-- “ God don’t have no grandchildren!” One must trust in Christ’s finished work at the cross for him or herself. We’re all commanded to believe on Christ—to stake our eternal destiny on Him. Take His invitation to everlasting life personally.
PRAYER: Dear Father, to the soul who stumbles across this written plea, open up their understanding to clearly see their need of Jesus. Without trusting in Him who is the Bread of Heaven, and Bishop of our souls—heaven will not be their eternal home after exiting this world. Thank You and amen!

Amen sister Denise ??. Yes, we sure need to take that phrase personal when it comes to our eternal home,
Praise Jesus for taking us personally, by which we're saved. Amen.
Hallelujah I took it personal to choose Jesus!!
Eternally secure; all is in the person the Lord Jesus Christ.
Amen and Amen!!! Love it, "take it personally", standing before Jesus is personal! Thank you for the words of wisdom.
