Don’t Miss Jesus

SCRIPTURE: “Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, (4) Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4
Everyone has assigned troubles, trials, if you may, and like Pastor’s recent exhortation and message, “Trouble Don’t Last Always.”  In the season of trials, we as the believer and letters of Christ must decide not to miss Jesus.  You know it as I do, too:  Christ gives us opportunities, even in the messy places, to shine as light in this dark world.  “And” what I love about the Lord is He gets us to come out of our own way to help us see life from His LOVE perspective.

Comfort others as you have been comforted shouts to me, “man-up!”  In other words, the Lord does not want us to fall by the wayside and become a victim of our circumstances.  Instead, He wants us to allow Him to gird us up and cause us to walk with and for Him.  We are the called; and our responsibility is to use every opportunity to raise our gaze.  Raising is necessary.  We must not become overwhelmed by our situations.  No, we must live above what we see before us.  Therefore, our raise is intended for us to see our Lord and give Him His deserved glory.

Jesus desires we remain so close to Him that we can exhort one another at any and every cost.  He desires we let Him (Christ) dwell among us richly as we teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the spirit, singing to God with gratitude in our hearts (Colossians 3:16).

In the Body, when we as individuals find ourselves in low places, we must trust Christ to surround us with those who will bless us and pray for our recovery.  We must praise God and embrace that recovery as triumph and have a readiness to encourage another.  The encouragement becomes a domino effect; and proves Christ’s presence.  He is the One! He causes us to triumph and hope beyond what we could ever measure or imagine.

PRAYER: Lord, we are grateful for Your constant presence.  Would You continue to cause us to see You high and lifted, and to always know You are able; yes, able to cause us to triumph and overcome for Your good pleasure.  In Jesus’ Name-Amen!

Thank You Jesus, for the 'comfort' afforded us, through the gift of grace, throughout uncomfortable seasons and in this present time.

nBless You. Pray we all bring 'comfort' from 'COMFORT'... all to the glory of God! Amen.
