SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “The law of the Lord is perfect, [a]converting the soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; 8 The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; the commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes;  9 The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; the judgments of  the Lord are true and righteous altogether.” Psalm 19:7-9
Our eternal Father and our gracious God, again as we open Your Word, we look to You,  Holy Spirit, to please help us, to give unto us enlightenment, to cause our hearts to be impacted so that we would be inclined to do what You are prompting us to do.  That You would make known to us Your will for our lives and that You would give unto us the open doors that would make it so crystal clear that we would not have any excuse to not obey what You are telling us to do.  Use me, I pray, as a servant that I may speak in accordance to Your Word and we’ll give You praise, oh God, and give You thanks for whatever is accomplished, for we ask it in Jesus’ name. Amen and amen.

Amen ??

Deacon McNeal Brockington - January 13th, 2026 at 9:34am

Amen. Word before me, world about me - Give me Lord a lifted gaze, upon the work of Thine own Spirit; even now, let faith bring praise! Let this flesh which I still carry, find its glorious Captain nigh, Whom with wisdom binds my captor, letting listening lift me high. Prayer before me, pray, surround me, come of every saint drawn near. Let us all align so dearly, yea, to stand, Thy Word to hear.
