Evil Is Not Invited

SCRIPTURE:  “I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing.” John 15:5
“If anyone comes to you and does not bring this doctrine, do not receive him into your house nor greet him; 11 for he who greets him shares in his evil deeds.”  2 John 1:10-11
Wickedness, half-truths, and false teaching oppose God’s will,
The exclusion of Jesus automatically means the inclusion of evil.

The Truth is the vine, and we the branches must abide,
Nevertheless, to bear much fruit, Christ cannot be left behind.

Human endeavors lead to nothing of eternal value without Christ,
To reach the Father, He is the way, and the truth, and the life.

I remember being separated from Him without faith and hope,
But He chose me, and I accepted, once salvation was provoked.

I was crucified with Christ when He suffered and died for me,
Now, I understand, it is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me.

That’s the significance of making sure Christ is my reference point and source,
A life without Him invites, endorses, and approves evil to take its wicked course.

So, I must avoid spiritual deception and intentionally uphold the truth,
Despite the world and the culture, God’s biblical Word stands as the proof.

Christ is my redeemer, and all things are considered and approved through Him,
He provides everything that’s needed for spiritual encouragement, hope, and fulfillment.

PRAYER: Where there is Christ, there is truth, change, growth, righteousness, salvation, salt and light, peace, joy, and hope. Without Christ is the total opposite. Be with us, Lord! In the matchless name of Jesus!

May we all bask in the message of life in Christ, and bring it wherever we go, accepting no substitutes. Lead us thusly, precious Lord. Amen.
