Will The Circle Be Unbroken?

SCRIPTURE: "You keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You." Isaiah 26:3
"Will the circle be unbroken, bye and bye Lord, bye and bye? There's a better home awaiting, in the sky Lord, in the sky."  That is how the refrain goes to this past popular song done by many, mostly as a folk, gospel, blues, contemporary Christian, country, and bluegrass offering. It has adorned many a funeral service in the past, found still as some of the sounds of 'homecoming' for many traditional church adherents. The call [of this 'call' and 'response'] comes as a hope filled question followed by a hope filled assertion.

Speckled across the landscape where olden little churches are, with their own modest family cemeteries, and many memories, dressed with the often untrained singing of this song or relatable hymns, there coexists the sympathies appreciating struggle, undying love, great faithfulness, eternality, and God. These which rest upon 'the Rock', extend to us all a legacy apt to make stay, letting each history be as a shoulder upon which to lean.

Hereof ending begets dawn, and completeness perseveres... all by divine providence. Greatly He did it. Great is the gift. The prophet Isaiah infers a meeting place for the mind and the will to have trust, come, and to stay, inviting the Lord with His willingness to perfect, and keep perfect through peace. It is as a circle, an intimate agreement between the imperfect seeker and the Perfecter, and because God never fails, this circle prevails. Thank you, Lord, for the lyrics You've given to Alvin Pleasant Carter, who offered the same to us.  "There's a better home awaiting..."
Meanwhile Lord, keep us in perfect peace. Though the tendencies of this world may be brought to boil, keep us in perfect peace. Though the flesh may prefer the lull of indifference, or the allure of the vain, Lord stir us with perfect peace.

Prayer:
Dear Lord Jesus, quicken our trust, and enlarge our believing in You, and perfect the slight to be made stout with 'peace'. Let no appetite succeed beyond the blessed boundaries and expanse of 'What thus saith the Lord'. Gratefully we pray this and all things in Your name. Peace.
