SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58
Our eternal God and our gracious Father in heaven, once again as a people we gather together to bow our hearts in Your presence in anticipation that You would once again speak to us.  We are indeed thankful with every remembrance of the salvation You have allowed us to have. To be able to know that we have eternal life and to know that we are loved with an eternal love and knowing that we are kept by an eternal power. Our hearts are settled in the times we live in, but Father, things aren’t the same. Many of the people of God, Your children, Your professing children, aren’t the same. Certainly Father, we know that we have been through great trials of affliction, we know, Father, many have encountered various degrees of suffering and hardship. We pray that You would indeed, fortify our hearts that we would be even more steadfast and unmovable and always abounding in the work that You have given unto us to do. Use me, I pray, as Your servant this morning that I may speak those things You desire to be said and that Your Son, the Lord Jesus would be lifted up. We’ll give You praise for it all for we ask it in Jesus’ name, amen and amen!
