The Especially Blessed

SCRIPTURE: “ But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, 4 whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them." 2 Corinthians 4:3-4
The Christ-rejecting world puts strong credence in the old axiom, “seeing is believing;” but our Creator God, from Genesis to Revelation, commands His redeemed people to first believe His word—ALL of it--- THEN we will see! Isn’t that what our risen Savior told doubting Thomas in John 20:29? Our LORD requires that His own LIVE like we believe ALL He has said from the very beginning. Given all of the signs that have been emerging over the past few decades, here in America as well as globally, only a spiritually blind person is incapable of noticing how imminent is our Savior’s return for His own. Only those who by His grace have believed the Gospel and received Christ Jesus as Lord and Savior can rightly identify with the classification of being especially blessed.

As we approach the end of this year, let not “the stuff of [this] life” hamper or restrain our
thankfulness for the blessings seen and unseen that our Savior has bestowed upon us in His Word, by His plentiful provisions of grace, mercy, and unsurpassed faithfulness.

PRAYER: Dear Abba, we praise Your name and give You ceaseless thanks for opening our eyes to recognize that (as one Christian commentator recently put it), “things In this world are not falling to pieces; the pieces are merely coming together!” May we keep our eyes on You as they do! AMEN!
