SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

Our eternal God and our gracious Father in heaven, again this morning we bow our hearts before Your throne of grace in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, our Savior.  As we bow, Father, we recognized our dependance upon You. We desire that the Holy Spirit would fill us that we may have enlightenment from the Holy Scriptures, that the Word of God would do a work in us that brings pleasure to Your sight.  That You might help us in tearing down every stronghold and every bit of knowledge that exalts itself against You. That our hearts would be made pure as we are convicted that You might cause us, Lord, to know more and more about what you require of us.  We ask Your favor upon me as a preacher, that You would use me once again that I might speak in accordance to the oracles that You have given unto us. We will give You praise and thanks Father for whatever is accomplished for we ask it all Jesus’s name, amen and amen!
