For This Reason

May you be encouraged by the Scripture and challenge from these sayings:

1. You can only overflow the heart of Christ when your heart is the heart of Christ.
Proverbs 3:5-6
"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding;
6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths."


2. Faith is “acting” like God is telling the truth.
II Corinthians 5:7
" For we walk by faith, not by sight."

3. The 'faith muscle” must be exercised to walk by faith.
I Peter 1:6-7
"In this you greatly rejoice, though now for a little while, if need be, you have been grieved by various trials, 7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ,"

4.. Thank You Lord for what must hurt me to heal me.
Romans 8:18
"For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."

5. God’s sovereignty measures out our pain and suffering for His glory.
 I Peter 5:10
"But may the God of all grace, who called us to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you."
 
6. The insecure are into titles, but the spiritually secure are into “towels”

7. God’s love absorbed God’s justice at the cross through JESUS CHRIST.
HALLELUJAH!!!
John 3:16-17
"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved."
