Falling into the Ground and Dying

SCRIPTURE: “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the ground and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it produces much grain.” John 12:24
This verse highlights a principle of spiritual fruitfulness through sacrifice. Jesus uses the
analogy of a grain of wheat never dies; it remains only a single seed. If it dies it will bear
more and more fruit. If a grain dies it becomes rotten and releases numerous seeds,
which then grow into new plants, producing much larger harvest. This principle applies
to Christians where self-denial and sacrifice are necessary for spiritual growth and
bearing fruit. Jesus explains that his crucifixion, emphasizing that his death would lead a
harvest of believers. John 3:30 He must increase, but I must decrease.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, help me to bear much fruit for Your kingdom. May my life be a testimony of Your love and grace. Use my life Lord, to impact others for Your kingdom. May many be drawn to You through actions and words.
