God Sees the Real You

SCRIPTURE: “being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;” Philippians 1:6
Someone has said that attitude is 90% how you take it and 10% how you make it. Some
of us have attitudes, mega and mini, but still attitudes! In an unequally yoked
relationship, our children can be affected by a marital relationship where there are two
attitudes of life – one humanistic and one divine. Which view do you most often display?
Is there enough evidence in your home to convict you of being a believer? It is easy to
portray Christlikeness at church, but the “real” person is seen behind closed doors.
Remember, God is sovereign. He was not taken by surprise by the choices we would
make whether saved or not. He has “called us with a holy calling not according to our
works, but according to His own purpose and grace which was given to us in Christ
Jesus before the world began. (II Timothy 1:9)"  When Christ came, He brought a whole
new approach to functional relationships between people, and the marital relationship
was one.

There is mutual submission to one another and functional submission in marriage,
employment, and government. The size of our God is greatly determined by our ability to
see how He is able to work through those in authority over us.

PRAYER: Lord, it’s me “a continual work in progress.” Thank You for all that You
have eternally invested in conforming me to Your image in this short life. You are
so perfect and intentional in all that You do to grow me up. I LOVE YOU JESUS!!!
