A Change Gonna Come

SCRIPTURE: “15 Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, 'The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!' 16 And the twenty-four elders who sat before God on their thrones fell on their faces and worshiped God, 17 saying: 'We give You thanks, O Lord God Almighty, The One who is and who was and who is to come, Because You have taken Your great power and reigned. 18 The nations were angry, and Your wrath has come, And the time of the dead, that they should be judged, And that You should reward Your servants the prophets and the saints, And those who fear Your name, small and great, And should destroy those who destroy the earth.'” Revelation 11:15-19

The world is experiencing sinful and wicked conditions,
Evil and the evil one have implemented his aim, purpose, and mission.

Strategically moving about to claim his authority,
Plotting to win the minority, while hindering the majority.

His evil prints are seen in our personal spaces and throughout public places,
He intends to destroy, while disguised in various forms, fashions, and faces.

All are meant for our damage and harm,
An influence that deceives through appeal and charm.

He is the enemy of believers and our Lord Jesus Christ,
Camouflaged as good to cause havoc in our lives.

Often, we are fooled by our feelings, so we miss this false king’s attributes,
Yet, our Lord knows all His evil ways, so He enables us to rebuke with His truth.

No longer will this false king have authority over the world or God’s people,
Christ Jesus is coming back to take ownership by dethroning what’s evil.

Now, the Heavens are shouting with praise and great anticipation,
The Lord in His time will expose this false king’s wickedness and perpetration.

No longer will this false king reign throughout the world with authority,
What the Lord allowed by design will testify to Who always had divine seniority.

PRAYER: Lord! We are so grateful that You are the Author and Finisher of our faith. We are encouraged by what You have revealed in Revelations. Meanwhile, we shall keep our eyes fixed on You. You promised to never leave us nor forsake us. We pray this prayer in the matchless name of Jesus.
