May Faith Be with You

SCRIPTURE:  “For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision nor uncircumcision have any value.
The only thing that counts is faith expressing itself through love.” Galatians 5:6
Galatians 5:6 tells us the truth of salvation by faith by stating, “faith working through love”
as what truly matters. Ephesians 2:8-9 explains that salvation is a gift from God that is
received through faith and not something earned by human effort. Both scriptures
empathize that salvation is brought through faith, not by the works of the law. The
relationship between Galatians 5:6 and Ephesians 2:8-9 lets us know how to receive
God’s grace and love as Lord and Savior.

Paul highlights that Christ Jesus has done His atoning sacrifice on the cross. God's work offers freedom from trying to earn righteousness through personal efforts or law-keeping. Salvation is a gift received by faith, not earned. Paul explains that genuine saving faith, by its very nature, produces love. This love is not mean to earn salvation, but a result of a heart transformed by God’s love and grace.

PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, fill my heart with Your love, a love that flows naturally through kindness and forgiveness. Show me where Your love is needed today and those who are around me who are hurting or overlooked in the world. Give me the courage to know what to say and the heart to genuinely care. In Jesus name, amen.
