The Heavenly Father Values Earthly Fathers

Blessings on this Father's Day 2025!

There’s a role that’s carved out and fashioned for a man exclusively,
The Lord designed this position to lead His family and community.

The Lord uniquely chose the person fit to lead a family to flourish and prosper,
A calling that’s established only from a son, brother, uncle, husband, and or father.

This pathway and God-given responsibility were planned and prepared for the father,
Building a spiritual legacy for their children and future generations is what he offers.

We live in a day where a father is criticized and demonized,
Often found absent, so women and others substitute unauthorized.

Although fathers fail or miss the mark, it’s their position solely to accept and own,
If not, the role is weakened, condemned, and tarnished with no backbone.

Women are capable, and others may even be successful or productive,
But a father is called by the Lord for this role with heavenly instructions.

So, fathers are not defined or characterized by world views,
The scriptures reveal a father’s responsibilities through biblical truth.

Fathers are meant to reflect our Heavenly Father's character through love, guidance, and discipline,
His role as a provider and protector models the way earthly fathers should be living.

Actively participating in raising and discipling their children,
Leading their families and serving the Lord for the Kingdom He is building.

Therefore, the Lord is calling all fathers who live under the authority of Jesus Christ,
Fulfilling his God-given role in his family and community all the days of his life.

PRAYER: Lord! Move our hearts to value the role of fathers. Convict fathers to take their rightful positions in the household and community. Thank You for being the ultimate Heavenly Father to us. In the matchless name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
