SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: "All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work." 2 Timothy 3:16-17

Our eternal Father and our gracious God, we thank You again for the privilege You have given unto us to be able as a people to open Your Word.  You have been gracious to us through this Book. You have kept us attentive. You have spoken to our hearts. You have challenged us, taught us, rebuked us, yes, corrected our wrong thinking, and You have been gracious to sustain this preacher, that I've been able to continue to this point. I have always wanted to preach through the Book, now Lord You have blessed me to be able to do every verse and we thank You for it. So now as we open It up again, we yield to the Holy Spirit, desiring that He would give unto us enlightenment and that the Word would accomplish mighty purposes in our hearts,  bringing all of us to that place today that is well pleasing to You. We'll give You praise, Father, and we'll give You thanks for whatever is accomplished, we ask it all in Jesus' name, amen and amen!
