Don’t Forget to Say, Thank You
SCRIPTURE: “Now it happened as He went to Jerusalem that He passed through the midst of Samaria and Galilee. 12 Then as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, ‘Jesus, Master, have mercy on us!’ 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, ‘Go, show yourselves to the priests.’ And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed. 15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, returned, and with a loud voice glorified God, 16 and fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks. And he was a Samaritan.” Luke 17:11-16

The scripture says, come as you are,
I don’t have to be holy, I don’t have to be perfect, I don’t have to be a star.
He knows my iniquities, He knows my weaknesses, He knows my sin,
However, He makes Himself available, despite what I’ve done and where I’ve been.
Thank You, Lord!
Although, my conditions aren’t ideal in my eyes,
You told me to keep my mind on You as trials arise.
Evil and the evil one are determined to abduct me as a hostage,
So, I rely on Your provisions and plans by trusting the process.
Thank You, Lord!
I will honor Your grace, and embrace Your daily mercies,
You have remained faithful and loving, despite I’m unworthy.
Because of who You are, I am grateful,
Because of Your goodness, I am thankful.
Therefore, I am exposing Your deity to the world,
I will shout Your praises to men, women, boys, and girls.
I am a witness of Your healing, Your power, and Your breakthroughs,
Lord, I celebrate Your goodness, for You are worthy of countless Thank You’s.
So, as the day comes that we all call Thanksgiving,
Gratitude is NOT an event, but a righteous way of living.
Prayer: Our hearts are filled with gratitude, most gracious and loving, heavenly Father. Thank you Lord In the name of Your Son, Jesus Christ! Amen.
