REVIVAL: A Request for Revival

45 Days of Praying for the Elections -  DAY 39 

Lord! We call Your name for renewal, restoration, and revival,
The request for Your presence to fix what’s broken by the hands of adversaries and rivals.

Certainly, You have been taken for granted,
We submit our request for mercy from the curses that were planted.

You are the only solution for the nation’s wicked pollution,
Come from Your heavens, Lord, and make Your name known through divine resolutions.

Those who have offended Your name,
Shake mountains and burn what’s against You with fiery flames.
 
Since the beginning of time, the nation has refused to fall in line,
The Lord’s Word shares the truth, but the people resist to connect and rhyme.

It’s only Your power worthy to address these pretenders and offenders,
To end this hostility, a statement must be made for the nation to remember.

You are faithful to those who wait patiently on You,
You give divine attention to those who adhere to Your truth.

Sin and contaminated deeds have caused You to hide Your face,
Failure to seek You and confess our transgressions have kept us unsafe.

Lord! We need intervention for the sake of this nation’s iniquities,
Our pain needs Your healing in preparation for new and hopeful possibilities.

So, this is our request for revival,
We have a better understanding that Your presence is nonnegotiable and vital.

Prayer: We frequently let you down, Father! We try to live without You and it’s simply impossible. Your mercy is required to obtain revival. Your faithfulness is needed to obtain revival. Another chance is granted for there to be any consideration for a revival. All we know is that we need You, Lord. What’s before us is beyond our capacity. So, revive us Lord, as only You can. In the name of Jesus!
