Spiritual Warfare: Stand and Fight for HIS GLORY
45 Days of Praying for the Elections - DAY 37
SCRIPTURE: “Let Your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, just as we hope in You.” Psalms 33:22
Oh, how we need Your mercy, Your kindness as we wait on You for such a time as this. This we know that we are not wrestling against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against spiritual wickedness in high places. BUT GOD is still in control!!
We have already been equipped to STAND girded with truth, the breastplate of righteousness, feet shod and ready to share the gospel, the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of GOD!!The moment we said yes to Jesus began our spiritual warfare with our spiritual armor. So if JESUS, the Author and Finisher of our faith, who for the joy endured the cross, despising the shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God making intercession for us, surely it is a small thing to stand and fight for HIS GLORY!
Prayer: Father, You have prepared us for such a time as this. May we awaken to the power and wisdom of the Holy Spirit Who has equipped us with everything we need to stand and having done all to stand. As Paul said, “For me, to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians1:21).
