THE CHURCH: Repent, Turn and Seek

45 Days of Praying for the Elections - DAY 26
SCRIPTURE: “God looks down from heaven upon the children of men, To see if there are any who understand, who seek God.“ Psalm 53:2
It is absolutely sad to see fundamental and biblical truths forsaken and rejected by a nation who was once considered a nation under God. But it is just absurd to see the Church, God’s bride, follow our nation. Today, with the war in Israel, and misplaced definitions for murder, marriage, and the family, believers are faced with faith arguments. We, the Church of Jesus Christ, are responsible to stand for Righteousness. Without our stand, we will allow what is an abomination to God to gain an appearance of innocence.

Therefore, prayer for the Church is emergent! Many believers have found comfort in their emotions and opinions without regard to what God has said. They are nonchalant and indifferent to the political wars we are facing; they fail to see how they are diabolically against God. They have decided to silently exist and be politically correct.

However, God is calling the Body of Christ to stand-up against the wiles of the devil. We are to shout God’s relevance in the matters of our nation and our world. For God is the Sovereign Ruler; therefore, in the fullness of time, every knee will bow; and every tongue will confess that He is Lord! Nothing, no, not one God-offending being or issue will be allowed to stand against You, oh Lord. So Lord, help the Church to repent, seek Your face, and align with what pleases You!

Prayer: Lord, thank You for Your plan of repentance, redemption! Your love stretches far and is able to reach and revive us. You can bring us to ourselves. Allow us to raise our gaze that we would see You high and lifted. Give us wisdom to stand humbly in unity with a biblical perspective, desiring to bring Your Name, Oh Lord, glory in all the earth. In Jesus’ Name-Amen!

Amen, let's raise our gaze and prepare to praise Him, throughout our days in all our ways. Amen. To God give praise! Amen, give Him the praise!
