THE CHURCH: The Effective Prayer of a Church
45 Days of Praying for the Elections - DAY 24
SCRIPTURE: “and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel,” Ephesians 6:19
The church's voice must be heard,
Prayers with a prophetic voice encouraged by God’s Word.
After all the Lord called His children to influence the Kingdom He is building,
He has entrusted us with His gospel for the prophecy He is fulfilling.
So, our prayers are designed to ask the Lord to equip us to rise,
As we influence a nation that’s lost to see from His eyes.
The nation and world must know who the orchestrator of all things is,
Whether miracle or disaster, victory or loss, the purpose for all is His.
The unsaved are not responsible for being our Lord’s witness,
Only those who know Him as Lord and Savior can make the difference.
So, the church must pray to ensure the Lord is the foundation and priority of our daily living,
Impacting the Kingdom and influencing the nation through family, community, and even our presidential decision.
We are at war as Ephesians 6 commands us to put on the whole armor of God,
Provisions are available for our protection, but evil and evil one cannot be disregarded.
Therefore, it’s the church's responsibility to lift prayers for our world and nation,
Boldly making the mystery of the gospel known to establish salvation and transformation.
Prayer: Lord, equip us for what You called us to do in this world. Give us no rest until we fulfill our responsibility to You. Give us a Kingdom mindset to influence the world. Thank You for Your patience and faithfulness. In the name of Jesus!
