Trusting God’s Timing

Their journey reminds us of our journey years or even decades ago. What is refreshing is hearing our Genesis Bible Fellowship Youth and Young Adults (Gen. B.FY) perspectives and their biblical applications. Read their devotional and be encouraged with what our Lord is doing!
SCRIPTURE: “For I know the plans for you declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you. Plans to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11
This School year throughout all the ups and some downs, I still felt as though I was itching for more than what was happening for me. Whether that was in the classroom or the football field. I wanted things to happen in my timing, instead of waiting for God. But various things would happen that would remind me, Gods timing is perfect and not our own. While we may want things when we want them, God has the final say, and His timing is always right on time. He showed me to stay patient and never worry because He always will make a way.

Prayer: Dear God, I thank you for always being on time. I have never had to worry about You not showing up when I needed You. I pray that You allow me to stay patient and trust You through all I do. Amen.

Amen🙏🏾 Thank you Bro. Gabe for reminding me that if I wait on the Lord and be of good courage, He will strengthen my heart. Psalm 27:14

Yep. Patience is one tall order, with so many compelling choices about. As it's been said, you cannot stop the birds from flying around your head, but don't look to fault anyone else for the nest they build in your braids.

nBe patiently humble and bless God. Defend your noggin [be about 'the book']. Manage your doo*.

n[* contemporized slang for 'hairdo']

nAdios and Amen.
