A Voice for Righteousness
As we close out this week's theme, “The Climate of Our Country and the Christian.” we are reminded that if we are to glory, let us glory in this, that we understand and know God, That He is the Lord, exercising lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness in the earth. For in these HE delights,' says the Lord."
SCRIPTURE: “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12)
Yesterday, today and forevermore, Christ Jesus is Lord! This is an eternal truth; He can never be deemed irrelevant. Today, there is a war going on...the popular and worldly beliefs are diabolically opposed to Jesus; yes, the Word of God. We, the body of Christ, are still called to be epistles and vessels of Truth. Whether the topic is creation vs. evolution, biological genders vs. self-selected genders, life vs. abortion, or marriage vs. same sex unions etc., we must be ready to give an account for what we believe and stand for our Risen King!
God in His infinite wisdom knew the state of man’s heart. He designed a plan; He would come to earth in the image of man to save the lost. He continues to offer salvation to those who are willing to believe, by faith, in God’s complete work of righteousness, Jesus Christ. He gives us a new heart that chooses Him, the only lover of our souls. Oh that men would repent; and agree with the Creator and King. For the day is coming when every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is Lord!
When the issues of the country are examined, and are compared to God’s Word, it is evident that there is a distinct conflict, a fist-up against the Father, and the Sovereign King of the universe. The world’s view is aimed at discrediting Christ and to even count Him as irrelevant to the issues of the day. But we, the saints of God, must stay sober, vigilant, and grounded in the love of our Lord; to even remain diligent in standing with Jesus on every subject that we may reveal the Hope within us; and to point the world to His perfect plan and purpose for mankind! (I Peter 3:15)
Prayer: Lord, we thank You for your plan of salvation. For we know our hearts are declared desperately wicked, but You provided Jesus, our escape and our means of capturing relationship and fellowship with You. We come with nothing, yet, You consider us worth saving for Your purpose. Lord, help us to read and obey Your Word; to live as unto to You, sanctified and determined to serve You with our whole heart and mind. For with Your strength, we are given the privilege and confidence to stand for what is right in whatever company we find ourselves. Thank You, Lord; we glory in You!...In Jesus’ Name-Amen.

AmenðŸ™ðŸ¾Thank you Sister Lisa for allowing the Lord to use you, and for reminding us, no matter what societal changes we are faced with, we must stand on His Word, put our faith and trust in Him and His Word, and be obedient to His WordðŸ™ðŸ¾
Amen.
nThe world's view away from redemption may embrace a Jesus who is 'loving and compassionate ', but resist or modify His being righteous and holy for that begs the question of our own state of being which we naturally default to being 'okay' or good enough. There's none naturally righteous. There must be a voice for righteousness...in Christ.
Amen and Amen!
