SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

Father in Heaven we thank You so very much for the great gift of Your Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Our hearts melt with gratitude and praise for what our decision for Christ has been to us. Life has not been the same and certainly we are thankful that life is going to be better. We look forward to each day and certainly we look forward to eternity, because we know in Whom we have believed, and we are persuaded that He is able to keep that which we have committed unto Him against this day and any day. We rejoice in that truth, that certainty that You give unto us in our hearts. As we open the Bible now, Father, we once again ask for the Holy Spirit’s guidance in these matters. That He would give enlightenment from these Holy Scriptures that they may cause our hearts to be moved and fortified and be reinvigorated. That truth would so move us that our lives gradually would look more and more like our Lord, Jesus Christ. We ask Your favor upon this servant, please that You would used me once again to speak in accordance to Your oracles and Lord God we will not forget to give You all the praise, all the honor and all the glory for whatever is accomplished. We ask it in Jesus’ name, amen and amen!
