SUNDAY MORNING PRAYERS with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

Father, as we prepare to open Your Word as a people, we declare with certainty from our own experience that the entrance of It does give us light.    We believe that this is the infallible Word. You have spoken to us for all time. Contained in these 66 books is the very Word You speak and the very Word You call us to know that we might know Your mind. And so as a people we open Your Word with great anticipation, and we expect that You would speak to the depths of our heart as you have been faithful to do in many times past. So, bless us now with understanding. We ask that You would show favor upon this servant that I may speak these things in accordance to what this Word says, so that the people in this place will leave having remembered, “Thus sayeth You.”  We will give You praise once again for whatever is accomplished for we ask it in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen!
