SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

Father, once again as we open Your word, we believe as You have instructed us that the entrance of It gives us light. We have seen over the years how you have nurtured us, built us up, corrected us. You have done all kinds of wonderful things through Your Word. You have caused us to know You, the only true God, and Your Son the Lord Jesus, whom You have sent to be Savior of the World. We thank You so very much that You have given unto us this unadulterated source of truth in a world that is filled with philosophies that are diametrically opposed to what You teach. We are so thankful that Your Word is true and that Your Word will stand no matter what men and women may do, no matter how false teachers may creep in. Your Word is a sure foundation and It will stand. So we ask now that once again, You would bless us with spiritual understanding in these truths and that You may have favor upon me as a preacher. Once again use me to speak as of Your oracles and we will give You all the praise and we will give You all the thanks for we it in the matchless name of our great Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ, Amen and Amen.
