Today we take a Devotional break from "Return and Rekindling of our First Love for Christ" to focus on a note from the Desk of Pastor Wayne Cockrell. Written in our January-April 2013 Genesis Bible Fellowship Newsletter, this note is sure to encourage your heart on the necessity of accountability.
SCRIPTURE: “As iron sharpens iron, so a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.” Proverbs 27:17
Prayer: Father in heaven, You have shown us what is good and what is required of us but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with our God. Help us to see that accountability begins with You and that You will use whomever You choose to accomplish Your will, for You desire that all Your children look like Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. May we sharpen one another and stir up one another to love and good works. In Jesus Name I pray, Amen!
