SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER with Pastor Wayne Cockrell
SCRIPTURE: “If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. 2 Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. 3 For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God." Colossians 3:1-3
Prayer: Father, we thank You so very much for the gift of Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ to us. We’re thankful for His death, the testimonial of His burial, and His resurrection. Indeed Father it has become our life. We have known death, we have known burial, and we live in the resurrection right now, and we praise You for that. As we open Your Word now, Father, we ask once again, that You would do what only Your Spirit can do in us. Cause us to understand, to have enlightenment to see these matters from Your perspective so that our hearts will not only be filled with knowledge, but our hearts would be so moved with the right motivation to do and to become whatever pleases You. Use me I pray as Your servant, Your son, to speak in accordance to Your Word and we will give You praise and thanks our Father for we ask it once again in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen.
