SUNDAY MORNING PRAYER with Pastor Wayne Cockrell

SCRIPTURE: "Oh, give thanks to the Lord, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy," Psalm 107:1-2
Once again, our Father we gather our hearts together in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. As we assemble in this place, we gather together with people who love You like we do. A redeemed company of people who can sing the songs that no other being in this world can sing. We’re thankful that we are redeemed by the blood of Jesus Christ. That all of our sins have been dealt with once and for all on the cross and we who have believed on Him have gathered in this place, not having fret or worry about whether we are saved or lost. We know that nothing shall separate us from the love of Christ. So now Father, as we are once again about the business of being equipped that we might live and serve in a manner that pleases You, we ask Your favor upon us in the hearing of the Word. That You might speak to us deeply and clearly, Lord, and that You might use Your servant once again to speak in accordance with Your oracles so that the clarity of the scriptures would be made real to all who are gathered here. That the effectual work of the Spirit and the Word would be mighty amongst these people, and we will give You praise and thanks in Jesus’ name, Amen and Amen.

Amen. Mercy has spoken. Mercy speaks, and so shall Mercy speak into that yet to be. Great is thy faithfulness O God! For all that is permitted, great is thy faithfulness. Amen!
