GOD’S INTENTION FOR A MAN

Scripture: “And when He had removed him, He raised up for them David as king, to whom also He gave testimony and said, ‘I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after My own heart, who will do all My will.’” Acts 13:22

The godly man understands he is in spiritual warfare,
He relies on the truth to ensure his battle plan is prepared;

The godly man knows he is set apart,
He expects persecution and suffering from the start;

The godly man knows his authority comes from His authority,
He is governed solely by the Lord, and His will is the priority;

The godly man understands God's strength comes from above,
His ministry requires sacrifice, obedience, discomfort, and love;

The godly man acknowledges what he is all about,
He doesn’t stick his chest out when tested, He pulls His Bible out;

Declaring, true tough men seek peace,
He understands the Lord is strongest when he is weak;

He knows and understands the task within God’s plans,
His dependency and submission equip and prepare him for life’s demands.

Prayer: You created man Lord! Who are we to define what You had in mind? Therefore, I have the privilege to seek Your heart to know what You expect of me as a man. The blessing attached is the opportunity to lead, disciple, and model to other men. Continue to teach me Father to become the godly man You called me to be. I lift this prayer in the name of Jesus. Amen!
