What God Has Showed Me-Let God Take Control!

June 29th, 2023

We close out the month of June with Devotionals written by our GBFC Youth. We pray your hearts were encouraged by our writers and their courage. This is only a snippet of what our Lord Jesus Christ is working in the hearts of our youth. May the Word of God and their devotional continue to bless you!

SCRIPTURE: "Come to me all you who are weary and burdened and I will give you rest" Matthew 11:28

God has showed me that His plans are better than my plans. Things that I may desire for my life may not be what God has for me. Sometimes we must go through situations to realize that, whether it’s friends, money, jobs, relationships, etc. What God has for us will always be revealed in His timing, let God take control.

PRAYER: Dear God, help us to always pray and seek Your will for our lives. Help us to not fall into worldly temptations but help us to keep our minds focused on You. Amen

Amen, brother Gabe ... as is put in 'Micah', we are encouraged to 'walk humbly before the Lord', for 'He has shown us the way'... so do justly, love mercy, and walk humbly before Him; it is the perfect exercise which is for our perfecting. Jesus be praised. Blessings.

Gave always remember what God has said to us in Jeremiah 29:11

For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

Stay close to God and live right because the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord (Ps 37:23-24)
