WHAT GOD HAS SHOWN ME: Being Tempted

SCRIPTURE: “If we confess our sins, He is Faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
Being tempted means to entice or attempt to entice (someone) to do or acquire something
that they find attractive; however, it’s wrong or not beneficial. When you are feeling or being
tempted you run the risk of doing something that may separate you from God. This means we
must deal with the consequences. David gave into temptation by committing adultery. He asked God for forgiveness and God forgave Him. In the end, when we confess our sins God always forgives us.
PRAYER: Dear Jesus, please deliver us from being tempted. You know what we’re going through
because You were tempted. Help us to live a faithful and righteous life. In Jesus' Name, Amen.

Amen! We are so proud of you! Temptation shows how much we need to depend on God. Many times I thought I could temptation on my own and failed. It is important that we rely on God's Word and our faith in Him to overcome it.
